Technology Programme
Information Days (24th November - 9 December 2005)

The Technology Programme information days were held the week
commencing 24th November 2005 at the following
locations -Edinburgh, York, Manchester and London.
The London and regional events were designed to promote awareness
of the
Technology Programme Autumn 2005 Competition and also to mark
the launch of the Technology Strategy Board
Annual Report. |

Technology Programme Information Days (9th
May - 19th May 2005)
|
|
The
Information Days provided delegates with the opportunity to
hear from and meet with DTI Technology Managers and
co-ordinators as well as network with others sharing similar
interests in the eight technology areas of the
April 2005 Competition. The regional development agencies &
devolved administrations also showed how they are
encouraging innovation. Research Councils also had
presence at all the events.

Cross-Government Information Day on
Science and Innovation - 15th March 2005
|
|
The aim of
this event was to raise
awareness of the work that Government Departments are doing in
developing science and innovation strategies in order to meet UK
challenges, enhance wealth creation and support international
development.

January Workshops 2005
|
|
These workshops provided delegates with the opportunity to
hear from and meet with Technology Managers and co-ordinators as
well as network with others sharing similar interests in the
above technology areas.

November 2004 Information Days
|
|
The London and regional events were designed to promote awareness of
the Technology Programme and showcase innovation (the successful
exploitation of new ideas) throughout the country.
