Energy and Environment Policy

MME's Energy and Environment Team - represents Business Relations sector units on energy and environmental policy, working within BERR, across Whitehall and in the EU to ensure regulation reflects business concerns on competitiveness and embraces the principles of sustainable development. The team will ensure that the views of relevant stakeholders are taken into account when defining policy positions. This involves developing sound evidence and building active networks with colleagues in BERR, as well as elsewhere in Government and outside. Priority action areas include energy, climate change, air quality and waste.
