The Role of the Branch
The Branch calculates and publishes tender price indices, output price indices and resource cost indices; formulae price adjustment indices and measured term contract updating percentages.

The Monthly Bulletin of Indices is used in conjunction with the formulae price adjustment method of adjusting building and civil and specialist engineering contracts to allow for changes in the cost of labour, plant and materials.
