Climate Change Projects Office

The Climate Change Projects Office (CCPO) is jointly funded by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra). We are a Government advisory office set up to assist UK businesses who wish to pursue opportunities arising from the Kyoto Protocol. We provide advice and support for projects which reduce greenhouse gas emissions and which could be eligible for tradeable emission reduction credits.

We provide information to companies on emission reduction projects and other climate change activities. We also deal with specific project enquiries and generally advise on developing emission reduction projects. We can provide advice to companies initiating their own response to climate change.

This site features a database of UK companies offering climate change related services to assist with developing projects, and a database of country specific information relating to both host and investor countries. The site also offers forms by which you can submit your project details and company information.
