Identifying and Sharing Good Practice

OSI is developing a series of events specifically for government departments, to identify and share good practice in a number of areas.

OSI has already hosted events on evidence and risk in policy-making, the scientific advisory committee community, and scientific peer review.

Future events and areas under consideration include:

  • Scientific Peer Review follow-up
  • Horizon Scanning
  • Best Practice and Effective Management of Science across Government
  • Supporting and increasing the appropriate use of Science and Engineering in evidence-based Policymaking.
  • Workshop on the Consultation on the Update to the Code of Practice for Scientific Advisory Committees
  • Networking for the Scientific Advisory Committee Community
