Science in Schools

As in all developed countries, the UK recognises the importance of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (the "STEM" topics) as essential tools for wealth-creation, and balancing high standards of living with sustainability and environmental issues. STEMNET, the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Network, is a UK-wide charity promoting STEM awareness, especially among young people, to help ensure that the UK maintains a flow of well motivated, high-quality individuals into STEM jobs.
