Knowledge Transfer Partnerships

A Knowledge Transfer Partnership can help a business to develop and grow by accessing the wealth of knowledge and expertise in the UK's universities, colleges and research organisations.

All approved Knowledge Transfer Partnerships are part-funded by the Government (eleven government organisations led by DTI) and can enable your business to work with a university, college or research organisation that has expertise relevant to your business and can help you increase profitability.

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships is available throughout the UK

What is a Knowledge Transfer Partnership?

There is expertise in the UK's universities, colleges and research organisations that could be of value to your business in developing new products, services and processes.

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships are designed to help you access this expertise and bring it into your business by working in partnership with academics or researchers.
