The top bar appears on many of our pages. Use the buttons there to return to the home page (click on the DTI logo on top or at the sides), search our sites, return to this Guide page, or to contact us. And please email the Internet Team if you have any suggestions on improving the site.

What is a pdf?

pdflogoPortable Document Format is a special type of file which we use in many places across our sites. To view PDF files you need to use Acrobat reader software which can be downloaded, free of charge, from PDF help.

Adobe has developed PDF conversion tools specifically for the benefit of blind and visually impaired users. The tools enable PDF files to be read easily by standard speech-synthesis software and will not retain the graphic images or text formatting of the original PDF.
