Introduction
- Trading with particular countries and regions
The
Trade Policy Section at DTI maintains bilateral relations
with third countries and regional groupings with the aim
of developing open and competitive markets for UK companies.
We do this by:
- Projecting
UK policies for the removal of trade barriers
- Promoting
a new round of multilateral trade negotiations as the
prime means to secure further liberalisation and avert
dangers of protectionism
- Working
to avoid and control trade disputes
See
each region for contacts.
Please
note that if you are looking for help with exporting from
the UK you should contact UK
Trade & Investment, the Government’s advice service
to exporters.
