C0NSULTATION ON PROPOSED NEW EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNAL CLAIM AND RESPONSE FORMS (ET1s
and ET3s)
The Employment Tribunals Service is conducting this
consultation.
This consultation document seeks views on proposed new Employment Tribunal claim
and response forms.
The Employment Act 2002 allows the Secretary of
State for Trade and Industry to prescribe the forms to be used by a claimant to
initiate an Employment Tribunal claim and by the respondent to reply to it.
The intention is that new forms will be finalised, in light of responses to this
consultation, during the summer and be prescribed from 1 October 2004 with their
use becoming mandatory only from 6 April 2005.
