2005 Priorities
There is no "formal" RAB communications workgroup. The RAB continues to maintain a watching brief over DTI's renewables communciation campaign - "It's Only Natural" - which is supported by both the Scottish Executive and Northern Ireland Assembly. The DTI is working with the RAB, the devolved administrations and the RDAs to continue the campaign in 2005 and 2006. The key objectives of the campaign are:

  • To raise awareness of renewable energy and it's benefits among planners and councillors, investors and wider public audiences - focusing primarily on the key regions of the UK.
  • to inform and educate key audiences to enable them to make informed decisions.
