Strategic issues team (part of the Energy Strategy Unit of DTI)

The key to implementing the white paper is to ensure there is a real joined up approach across government and beyond and SEPN has been established to achieve this. Central to the operation of SEPN is the strategic issues team of the DTI. This forms the hub of the SEPN network. Its role is to provide a central point for information about progress on the white paper, to monitor progress, assist work streams owners to deliver their commitments and provide the secretariat for the various groups and committees.
