Environmental Issues

In this section you will find information on all the main work concerning Environmental issues connected to Energy undertaken by the DTI.  This includes work on Energy Efficiency, Energy and the Environment, Energy Services, Emissions Trading and Climate Change.  Much of this work is done in partnership with other organisations and Government Departments.

The DTI also contributes to a Global Partnership Programme that assists with Global Environmental Issues. The UK provides assistance towards managing the nuclear, biological and chemical legacy in the countries that formed the Former Soviet Union.
