Information for migrant workers

The UK Government is keen to ensure that migrant workers coming to the UK are aware of their employment rights and responsibilities.

We have co-operated with the Portuguese, Polish and Lithuanian Governments on information leaflets for their nationals. These are available from this site.

We have also produced a basic, one page 'Working in the UK: Know your rights and where to get help and advice' leaflet available in Bulgarian, English, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Romanian and Slovakian. The Home Office is sending the leaflet to all workers registering under the worker registration schemes for recent EU accession countries. It is also available as a pdf from this site.
