Key Contacts About this publication This publication is principally designed to help business people find the right contacts in DTI quickly and easily. It describes what we do and identifies who does what so that, whatever you need to know, your key contact in DTI is only a phone call away. Many individual DTI schemes and activities are delivered to businesses direct through the 10 regional Government Offices, or by Business Links, so if you are a small business looking for specific help and advice about developing your business, your first port of call should be your local Business Link, the single point of access for business support services. Each chapter describes what we do and includes a key contact list, so you can identify and get in touch with the official you need. The person answering will deal with your query or put you in touch with someone who can. It may be that other aspects of the Department's work will also be of interest to you. You will find references at various points in the publication to parts of the Department which might be useful to you.
