LBRO Consistency Project

As part of its work on LBRO DTI started a short-term Consistency Project to examine cross-boundary partnership schemes such as the Home Authority Principle and Lead Authority Partnership Schemes.

DTI continued to run this project until March 2007 despite the policy lead in this area having passed to the Better Regulation Executive along with other LBRO work in November 2006.
 
The Better Regulation Executive aims to issue a consultation on these issues and on the establishment of LBRO in May 2007.
