The Government has announced that it is carrying out a review of the Assisted Areas in response to new European Commission guidelines on regional aid. The current Assisted Areas were designated in 2000. This document seeks views on the designation of future Assisted Areas from 2007 to 2013. Additional information is available for this Consultation.
