The role of Construction Products Team

The Construction products team works with the construction products sector and is the first point of contact within government for the construction products sector of the industry on issues such as sector consolidation, competitiveness and sustainability.

The team co-ordinates information and action on all issues that may affect the construction products sector. We work closely with industry trade associations, research organisations and individual companies, to address issues of concern and to help disseminate information and best practice.

  • Promotion of the adoption of sustainable construction - with particular emphasis on improved environmental performance.
