Public Service Agreement (PSA) Targets

The Public Service Agreement (PSA) framework is central to the Government's strategy for delivering high quality public services.  DTI has undertaken to deliver 11 PSA targets in the 2004 Spending Review (SR 2004).  Each target is supported by a Technical Note, which sets out in detail how the target will be measured.

BERR reports twice a year on progress towards delivery of its PSA targets, in the spring Departmental Report (DR) and the Autumn Performance Report (APR). This will include progress against targets agreed in previous Spending Reviews where relevant.
