Business Plans

Department for Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform Business Planning translates the high level strategy into a series of operational programmes, referred to as Business Plan Objectives, each with its own detailed delivery plan, referred to as the Objective Delivery Plan.

The Delivery of the Department's Public Service Agreement (PSA) Targets, agreed with HM Treasury as part of each three yearly Spending Round, is integral to the development of these Business Plan Objectives and Objective Delivery Plans.

The Business Plan provides an overview of what we're aiming to achieve through these objectives and summarises our delivery plans. The Business Plan is refreshed each year to ensure that resources are targeted at delivering strategic priorities.

Progress against what we said we'd do in our Business Plan (including progress against PSAs) is covered in our annual Departmental Report (DR) with progress against PSAs also covered in the Autumn Performance Report (APR).
