Enhancing Informal Adult Learning for older people in care settings

We're taking forward work to develop guidance to support care providers to open up more learning opportunities for older people in care settings. This includes public, private, voluntary, day-care and home care settings.

The first stage of the project is an interim report, published 1 October 2009 which is Older People's Day. The report provides a number of examples of activities that are already taking place, which we hope will inspire others to think about how they might get involved. The report also sets out the challenges ahead. The report can be accessed at:
