A SRIF 1 grant of £400K together with university funding (£100K) has provided a suite of new laboratories and specialised equipment leading to the creation of the new Institute for Biophysical and Clinical Research into Human Movement (IRM). The purpose was to provide state of the art technology, appropriately housed, to understand human locomotion and movement in health and disease.
