As part of the BA Festival of Science at York in September 2007, Sir David King hosted an event at which he was accompanied by presenters from five organisations with an interest in the Universal Ethical Code for Scientists, or indeed ethics more generally
A short Q&A session was also held, with some questions also being received after the event.
- Sir David King
- AstraZeneca
- The Environment Agency
- The Food Standards Agency
- Institute of Physics
- The Royal Academy of Engineering
This event also saw the launch of a small leaflet entitled ‘Rigour, respect, responsibility: A universal ethical code for scientists’ to promote the Code and its principles more widely.
Copies of this leaflet can be made available to organisations or individuals who have an interest in promoting the code and its principles to members of staff.
