The Foresight Horizon Scanning Centre supports futures activities carried out within Government. It does this through the Futures’ Analyst Network (FAN Club), a forum where those who have an interest in horizon scanning and futures analysis can meet to exchange new ideas, innovative thinking and good practice

There is also a futures toolkit ‘Exploring the future: tools for strategic thinking’ which builds on and improves our first toolkit, Suggestions for success, which was published in 2005. The updated toolkit contains information not only on horizon scanning but also on many other useful futures techniques. It is conceived as a resource to dip into at various stages in a piece of futures work.
