The Further Education and Training Act 2007 has received Royal Assent. It was introduced into Parliament on 20 November 2006 and completed its passage on 18 October 2007
The Further Education and Training Act enables key aspects of the further education reforms described in the March 2006 White Paper Further Education: Raising Skills, Improving Life Chances.
The Further Education and Training Bill introduced to the House of Lords on 20 November 2006 implements the commitments made in White Paper ‘Further Education, Raising Skills, Improving Life Chances’.
