Sustainable Retrofit - Learning from Europe

The MBE KTN is working with the FCO Science & Innovation Network to deliver "Future Green Buildings" which aims to bring leading-edge thinking from across Europe on the subject of sustainable retrofit. The conference will take place at BRE, Watford on Wednesday 18 November 2009 and conference will feature representatives from EMPA in Switzerland, Skanska in Sweden, Fraunhofer Institute in Germany and CSTB in France as well as input from key UK players in this field, including Professor Michael Kelly.
Polish – British Molecular Genetic Forum

SIN Warsaw and the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education organised a Polish – British Molecular Genetics Forum on 1-3 June 2009. The Polish plans to establish a National Biobank and legislation on genetic molecular tests in Poland set the context for the forum.

UK stakeholder visit hydrogen infrastructure

The London Hydrogen Partnership, BERR, Bryte Energy and the University of Glamorgan visited Hydrogen infra-structure installations in Norway, Sweden and Denmark in February 2009 as a follow-up to the successful inward mission to the London Hydrogen Partnership in October 2008.
