How to respond

This consultation closed on 7 July 2008 and no more responses are being accepted.

We had over 200 written responses from a wide range of stakeholders including Higher Education and Further Education providers and representative bodies, employers' organisations, Sector Skills Councils and Professional Bodies.

All of the responses are being carefully considered and a report of the outcomes will be published on the DIUS website by early October

Freedom of Information

The information you provide in your response will be subject to the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and Environmental Information Regulations, which allow public access to information held by the Department.

This does not necessarily mean that your response can be made available to the public as there are exemptions relating to information provided in confidence and information to which the Data Protection Act 1998 applies.

You may request confidentiality by ticking the box provided at the end of the response form, but you should note that this will not necessarily exclude the public right of access.
