I request all information held on the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and their remit in providing Food hygiene qualifications.

We hold some details on the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) in its role as an awarding body with qualifications which have been recognised by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority. These details consist of the awarding body contact details and CIEH qualifications on the Section 97 website.
Section 97 is a list of qualifications that the Secretary of State has approved for the use of persons over 19 in further education. Inclusion on the list has the effect of making the qualifications eligible for Learning and Skills Council funding. You can find the full Section 97 list on http://www.dcsf.gov.uk/section97/.
