I would like to request all information relating to consideration by DIUS, in all and any contexts, of the feasibility and benefits of rendering mandatory the (audio or video) recording of all meetings between research students and their supervisors, and other members of staff, at HEIs.
Response
I would like to advise you that following a search of our paper and electronic records we found no records of any recording of meetings. I must stress that the higher education institutions (HEIs) are independent, autonomous bodies, responsible for their own internal affairs. As such, they are outside of direct Government control. For any internal information you should put your request to the individual institution.
