The third Healthcare Science Awareness Week took place from 15 to 19 November with events being held across the country, for school children, the general public, for NHS staff and scientists themselves. It celebrated the vital work of healthcare scientists and promoted awareness of their contribution to the NHS and the health of the nation. It also raised the profile of healthcare science to the public at large and in particular to young adults as a possible career option for the future.
