This document sets out what is required of regions wishing to apply for DfT funding to support their development work for "Delivering a Sustainable Transport System" (DaSTS). DfT is offering funding to regions to support both the development of regional work programmes and also work to generate packages of options to support the five DfT goals.

Delivering a sustainable transport system: city and regional network data book

This document presents national datasets and forecasts which relate to the Government’s transport goals and challenges, as set out in “Delivering a Sustainable Transport System” (DaSTS). The Data Book fulfils a DfT commitment to share information with regions that may help them consider their strategic transport priorities and to follow the transport planning process set out in Delivering a Sustainable Transport System (DaSTS) and the associated Draft Guidance to Regions.


Guidance to regions on delivering a sustainable transport system

This guidance to regions focuses on the work that regions will be invited to undertake to influence the Government’s decisions on transport investment from 2014 onwards. It accompanies the documents “Delivering a sustainable transport system” and “Delivering a sustainable transport system: consultation document on planning for 2014 and beyond”, published in November 2008.
