Proposal to discontinue passenger services at Mosley Street Metrolink station, Manchester

The Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive wishes to discontinue passenger services at Mosley St station on the Metrolink light rail system in central Manchester. Under the provisions of the Railways Act 2005, GMPTE must conduct an assessment of the effects of the proposed closure and DfT must conduct a public consultation. Statutory notices have also been published in the national and local press.

Consultation on draft regulations which amend the Motor Fuel Regulations 1999 to implement European Directive 2009/30/EC with respect to Fuel Quality

The DfT is considering options to achieve a 90 per cent uptake of eco-driving training for drivers of Large Goods Vehicles (LGVs) and this consultation document invites views that will help inform this. The EC Air Services Regulation: consultation on pricing enforcement regime and leasing appeals

A consultation on draft regulations which will permit the Civil Aviation Authority and the Office of Fair Trading to take action to ensure compliance with the provisions of Regulation EC 1008/2008 on the transparency and non-discrimination of air fares; and introduce a right of appeal against decisions of the Secretary of State for Transport and the CAA on the leasing of aircraft.
