Contracting out of Highway Functions

Summary: This consultation details proposals for a new contracting out order for highways functions in both England and Wales. Contracting out functions enables partner organisations to carry out a statutory function without reference to the relevant authority. It is intended these orders will replace the existing highways contracting out orders.
