We want to give you a flavour of what it's like to work for DFID, and the type of work that our people do. We hope to add more profiles from a variety of locations and disciplines to help you decide whether you'd like to apply for one of our jobs, or a related Government position elsewhere.


Mike Hollis, a DFID employee Mike Hollis works on the Iraq programme in Baghdad, having joined DFID through the general Fast Stream. He spends a lot of time co-ordinating  between London, Baghdad, Basra, the US Embassy and Iraq.


Daniel Arghiros, an employee being profiled in this section Daniel Arghiros is a UK-based adviser, working at our main office in Accra, Ghana. He works on public sector reform, financial management and on budget support


Andrew Clark, an employee being profiled in this sectionAndrew Clark is a member of the External link, opens in same windowFast Stream programme and is currently an economist working on the Afghanistan Country Programme. He works in London and Kabul.


Joy Hutcheon, an employee being profiled in this section Joy Hutcheon is a UK-based member of staff, working at our East Kilbride HQ, where she is one of our most senior managers.

Nelly Moleka, an employee being profiled in this section Nelly Moleka is a locally-hired programme officer in our office in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, working on water and sanitation, HIV-AIDS, and natural resources.
