Statistics on International Development 2008, errata notice

This version of Statistics on International Development 2008 (SID) is slightly different to the version published online on the 2nd of October 2008. This reflects the following revisions to the originally published data which are now also reflected in the online version

  • The total amount of DFID multilateral expenditure to the UN Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) reported for 2007/08 wrongly included both DFID’s 2006/07 and 2007/08 contributions. This error also affected the reporting of total UK Gross Public Expenditure on Development (GPEX) and the DFID Programme for 2007/08 both of which have also been corrected. Estimates of Official Development Assistance were not affected.
  • An error has also been identified in the volume of expenditure reported as Sector Budget Support and Other Financial Aid. This error relates to the classification of a single sector budget support programme in Ghana which wrongly appeared in the category "Other Financial Aid" in the original web release.

These errors affect Tables 1, 3, 13, 14.1, 18 and 20.
