Consultancy Opportunities | Registration with DFID | Contract Documents | Procurement Group Complaints Procedure| Procurement of Goods and Equipment | Future Development ActivitiesConsultancy OpportunitiesFrom 1 April 2001, all UK development assistance has been fully untied, which allows suppliers from anywhere in the world to bid for DFID contracts. In line with EU Procurement Directives, DFID is required to advertise all activities expected to exceed the current threshold of £99,695 by placing a Contract Notice in the Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Communities (OJEC). Exceptions to these requirements include emergency relief and legal projects. *Amendment to OJEC 02 4220 - Modernising Social Services 23/7/04
Registration with DFIDFollowing the implementation of untying aid, we are currently reviewing our registration procedures and also the method by which we engage consultants to work on projects below the EU threshold. Consequently, we are not issuing registration applications at present. For enquiries regarding this matter please email Procurement Group's general enquiries address at cbinternet@dfid.gov.uk or telephone:
