DFID publishes an annual report called ‘Statistics on International Development’ (SID), which sets out how all official UK financial resources for international development are spent. These statistics give details of support from DFID as well as from other UK official sources. The statistics are also broken down by type of aid e.g. financial aid, technical co-operation etc.

Details of expenditure from all UK official sources for 2007/08 will be available when the 2007/08 edition of SID is published in September 2008.

Expenditure for the next five years

DFID’s programme in China is expected to end in March 2011. Details of DFID’s allocation to country programmes, including China, for the years 2008/2009 to 2010/2011 are published in our Annual Report. The planned allocation for the China Programme is in the table below:
