DFID Alumni Association

Welcome to the DFID Alumni Association site.

If you have ever worked for the Department For International Development, the Overseas Development Administration or the Overseas Development Ministry, the Alumni Association is for you. It's your first port of call for getting the latest news from fellow alumni, and updates about the work of the Department.

What is the Alumni Association?

The Alumni Association exists to promote and facilitate links between DFID and its alumni community. It provides a forum for alumni to maintain and reconnect their links with the Department and with each other.

Members of the Association will:

  • receive regular information from DFID about the current work of the Department and development issues in general;
  • be invited to comment on papers open for consultation;
  • be invited to organised events, asked to act as ambassadors for DFID and encouraged to build support for development;
  • invited to act as a critical friend and recommend useful contacts/sources of information for specific areas of work.
