Programme Review by The Department for International Development (DFID

The implications for Global School Partnerships

DFID announces review of using aid funds in the UK to promote awareness of global poverty

DFID has announced that it is reviewing its funding of its work to build greater awareness in the UK of development challenges in poorer countries. The review will include Global School Partnerships (GSP). During the review the GSP grant rounds will be put on hold, so no new Starter Grants will be awarded. Global Curriculum Project grant applications can still be made for the 1 March deadline, but no new awards will be made until the review has been completed, so do not submit applications for the Starter Grant until further notice.

Professional development workshops and Grant Preparation Seminars are continuing. Dates of forthcoming workshops, can be found on this website.
