Working in partnership

The 2015 International Development Targets cannot be achieved by DFID alone, or by any one country or global organisation seeeking to do so. Achieving the targets must be undertaken in partnership with developing countries, and with the major international institutions whose resources and decisions can have significant effects upon the lives of the poorest people in the world. This section tells you about DFID's work with the world's international financial institutions (such as the World Bank and International Monetary Fund), with the European Union, and with the United Nations and Commonwealth countries.
