How DFID is organisedDFID's organisational structure (or 'organogram') in PDF form is available here. Note: This structure will come into effect with the appointment of the Director General Programmes and International during 2002.Hint: Download or print the organogram first, then use it to find the department you're looking for. If that isn't possible (as for some visually impaired users), you will need to go through the list given below. The DFID divisions and departments below are arranged in the way they mesh together within DFID, as shown in the organogram. DFID's work in different countries is organised in four distinct Divisions. UK-based offices have responsibility for development activity among a number of countries and organisations. DFID offices outside the UK have specific geographical remits, shown in the list that follows. Hyperlinks for each division and department offer contact details and outline information about work undertaken. For some departments, separate hyperlinks offer more detailed information about policies and activities.
Other specialist departments tackle different aspects of development need or provide professional support to DFID's work. They are shown here in the groupings used by DFID. Back to Top |
