Programmes

Education Programmes

DFID is strongly committed to the education MDGs. We believe that these goals are achievable if the governments of poor countries implement effective policies and receive the right assistance from the international community. Part of our strategy for achieving them involves strong, well targeted country programmes - with priority to sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia - which will provide strategic assistance to governments and civil societies committed to UPE and gender equality.
