• Armed Forces Memorial

  The Armed Forces Memorial is the first national memorial dedicated to the men and women of the United Kingdom Armed Forces (Regular and Reserve) killed on duty or as a result of terrorist action since the Second World War.

• Project BLOODHOUND SSC competition

  Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) has recently become involved with an incredibly exciting science and engineering project, known as BLOODHOUND SSC. The BLOODHOUND project team hope to build the world’s fastest land vehicle to beat the current world record for speed across land.

• RAF Museum

  RAF Museum London has a total collection of well over two hundred aircraft, over a hundred full-size aircraft from all over the world, some very early airplane designs, war planes including the legendary Battle of Britain Spitfire airplanes and Lancaster Bombers of World War II and the latest modern day jets and military aircraft.
  
  The Royal Air Force Museum at Cosford has over 70 historic aircraft in three wartime hangars on an active airfield. The collection spans nearly 80 years of aviation history.

• Royal Naval Museum

  The Royal Naval Museum, in Portsmouth's Historic Dockyard, is one of Britain’s oldest maritime museums. The Museum’s mission is to preserve and present the history of the 'Fleet' - the ships and the men and women who manned them.
