Delivery
- Explain that it is important to remember that the people who have died fighting for Britain over the ages have secured many of our freedoms today.
- Ask students to suggest freedoms that we enjoy today which have been protected by those that have died in conflicts.
- Display Slides 17-20 which contain images of different freedoms which may have been lost.
- The freedoms which the images represent are:
- Freedom of speech
- Freedom of religion
- Freedom of movement
- Democracy - the freedom to choose who governs the country.
