Ask students to revisit their original ratings on Student Worksheet 2. Have their views changed?
Display Slides 16-20 which show the military aircraft, tanks and submarines used by the British Armed Forces today.
Explain that MOD funded organisations such as the Defence Science Technology Laboratory are crucial in making advances which are relevant to both the improvement of Britain's defence capabilities and have spin-offs to civilian life.
