- 3. Collecting information
The end of the First World War
3. Collecting information
Required Resources
- Student Worksheets 3
Delivery
- Split students into groups of three. Each group is given copies of Student Worksheet 3a-c. Each of the worksheets outlines the importance and includes imagery of the three technologies - aircrafts, tanks and submarines. The worksheets will also contain imagery of the various technologies in use.
- The worksheets can be differentiated so that students of a lower ability can be given simpler information to gather, whilst more able students are provided with more detailed and complex sources from which to gather information.
- The students take notes on one of the areas from the Student Worksheets.
Differentiation
Lower Ability:
Lower ability students should be asked to gather information on tanks.
Higher Ability:
Higher ability students should be asked to gather information on aircraft.
