Delivery

• Show students the Everest Climb Advertisement which features footage of Service Personnel summiting Mount Everest. Play this video without any introduction, then display Slides 2-7.
• The Slides feature a series of images of individuals undertaking various sporting and physical activities in extreme conditions.
• Invite students to discuss what they see and write key vocabulary on the board e.g. physical conditions, environment, stress, weather, terrain, altitude, pollution, competition, stamina, determination, pain etc.
