2. How many different types of development could there be?

• Slides 3-11

Delivery

• Explain that there can be 4 different types of development. Give the students the headings on Slide 3. Conduct a class discussion to identify the main things which could be considered in each of these four categories.
• Now display Slides 4-11 to help explain each one.
• Slides 5, 7, 9 and 11 contain contrasting images to show the differences in development between MEDCs and LEDCs.
