3. Camouflage evolution - Duration 20-25 mins

  • Play Video: Camouflage during the World Wars, to show how British military camouflage has evolved since the 20th Century World Wars to present day.
  • Split the class into groups of 2 or 3 and distribute Student Worksheets 1-2b and Slides 5-26.
  • Using the various resources, each group should identify the key changes and decide if camouflage fulfils the required functions for today.
