The role of women in WW2
4. Mind map
Required Resources
- A3 paper
- Coloured marker pens
Delivery
- Hand out a sheet of A3 paper to each group and a different coloured pen to each member of the group (making it easy to check that all of the students have contributed).
- Ask the students to remain in their groups and using their tables and feedback, produce a mind-map surrounding the following questions:
- Explain the different ways in which women contributed to the war effort during WW2.
- Explain to the students that the groups will be expected to use their mind map to present their judgements to the rest of the class.
- Allow students 15 minutes to complete the mind map before asking them to present back to the rest of the class. Perhaps ask each group to feedback about one service each.
